When I returned home at the beginning of December, I was worn out in more ways than one. I wasn’t sure where I fit anymore, and I struggled that time away had distanced me from the relationships here in Canada, and that I might have to start over. But this season unfolded so differently than I expected. The Lord has been so kind, restoring and strengthening connections in ways I couldn’t have done myself. Slowly, I feel like myself again, anchored by the people who know me best. And while it makes leaving again all the more bittersweet, I do so with gratitude, knowing I’m supported by so many.

After a season in Canada I hope to be spending a few weeks in Ghana participating with a medical ministry team.
Ghana like many places around the world is an area where access to medical care is limited. That’s where our team hopes to come alongside local efforts to offer care and compassion in any area we can. Together we hope to provide surgical care to women including C-sections, hysterectomies, myomectomies, ovarian cyst removal and various other necessary surgeries. I’m excited to see how He will use me in this position to the building and strengthen His Kingdom.
I had the privilege of visiting Ghana back in November of 2022, where I was deeply impacted both professionally and spiritually. I learned so much about surgical care in a developing world, and my eyes were opened to the reality of individuals living with treatable conditions for years without access to care. During this time I also experienced a profound sense of God’s presence and faced spiritual convictions that have stay with me ever since.
I would truly appreciate your thoughts and prayers as I prepare for this trip. Pray for safe travels, for our team to work well together and most importantly, for the people we will serve. Pray that we would be a source of hope, encouragement and practical help. If you feel led to support this mission financially, I would be deeply grateful—your generosity would play a meaningful role in making this trip possible and impactful.
Thank you for being part of my journey, and I look forward to sharing more as the trip unfolds.
