Dorina

Hello friends!
My name is Dorina.

I was born and raised in Chilliwack. I have been a nurse for 6 years and most recently, I have been working in my local hospitals as an emergency and medical nurse.

For several years God has been calling me to serve Him in the capacity of missions. I have had the privilege to travel to various countries in South America and Africa and experience life from a different perspective. To nations that are materialistically poor but spiritually wealthy.

Now God has opened the door for me to volunteer with Medical Ministry International in Ghana in May. This is a huge step of faith, but I place my firm trust in God that He will guide and protect me. I’m so excited to see how God will use me in this position to build and strengthen His kingdom in a place that has captured my heart many years ago.

My Position

I’ll be working alongside a team local and internal healthcare professionals as well as three OBGYN surgeons. Together we hope to provide surgical care to women who have limited or no access to medical care. Some procedures include: c-sections, hysterectomies, myomectomies, ovarian cysts and various other procedures needed. As a team our main goal is to provide medical aid but more importantly to share the love of Jesus Christ.
